Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the jinistickerbook sticker app and its keyboard (together, the “App”), operated by jinistickerbook (“we,” “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App
The App lets you browse and download sticker packs created by independent artists, and send them in Apple Messages. It also includes an optional keyboard you can enable in iOS Settings, which lets you send the packs you already have into other apps that accept pasted images, for example Instagram, Messenger, or WhatsApp. Some packs are free and some are available as paid in-app purchases.
The keyboard only ever gives you the packs you have downloaded or purchased in the App. Whether a sticker sends correctly in another app depends on that app, not on us, and some apps may not accept them at all.
License to use stickers
When you download or purchase a sticker pack, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the stickers for your own personal, non-commercial messaging. This includes sending them from the App in Apple Messages and, using our keyboard, sending them in other messaging and social apps.
That license covers sending stickers in conversations. It does not let you do anything else with the artwork. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the stickers; use them commercially, including in advertising, branding, merchandise, or anything you sell or monetize; use them to train machine learning models; or extract, copy, or export the underlying artwork out of the App for any purpose other than sending it in a conversation as described above. You also may not modify the artwork, remove any artist credit, or present it as your own. All stickers and artwork remain the property of the respective artists, licensed to us.
Purchases, billing, and refunds
Paid sticker packs are sold as one-time in-app purchases processed by Apple through the App Store using your Apple ID. Prices are shown before you buy. Because payment is handled by Apple, all billing and refund requests are subject to Apple’s terms and are managed through Apple, not by us. To request a refund, use Apple’s “Report a Problem” page. Purchases can generally be restored on your devices through the App using the same Apple ID.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the App lawfully and not to misuse it. For example, do not attempt to interfere with its operation, reverse-engineer it except as permitted by law, or use the stickers in a way that is unlawful, harassing, or infringes others’ rights.
Intellectual property
The App and its design are owned by jinistickerbook. The artwork in each sticker pack is owned by the artist who made it and is licensed to us. Everything is protected by intellectual property laws, and these Terms do not grant you any rights except the limited sticker license described above.
Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will always be available.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, jinistickerbook will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the affected purchase.
Changes to the App and these Terms
We may update, change, or discontinue the App or these Terms at any time. Material changes to these Terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
Apple as a third-party beneficiary
These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. However, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple’s standard End User License Agreement (EULA).
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
